Affiliate Disclosure Notice

This Affiliate Disclosure Notice (“ADN”) is part of the Policy Center. It incorporates the General Policy Terms (“GPT”) by reference. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the GPT. This ADN explains how the Operating Firm may refer or transfer requests to third-party providers and how disclosures are presented. The Operating Firm does not receive compensation or other benefits in connection with these referrals or transfers.

This ADN does not change Engagement Terms, the Terms of Use, the Terms of Service, the Privacy Notice or any third-party terms that apply to a product or service you purchase from a third party.

ADN-22.0 Referral Relationships and No Compensation

ADN-22.1 Referral and transfer model

The Operating Firm may provide information about third-party subscription products or membership programs and may route interested Users to a representative of the third-party provider. Any third-party product or program is provided by the third-party provider, not by the Operating Firm.

ADN-22.2 No compensation or benefit

The Operating Firm does not receive commissions, referral fees, revenue share, bonuses, discounts, credits, free services or any other compensation or benefit in connection with transferring or referring Users to third-party providers.

ADN-22.3 No endorsement or guarantee

ADN-22.4 If this ADN changes

If the Operating Firm’s relationship with third-party providers changes in a way that involves compensation or other benefits, this ADN will be updated and appropriate disclosures will be provided where required.

ADN-23.0 Third-Party Membership Programs, Identity Protection and Similar Offerings

ADN-23.1 Third-party provider responsibility

Certain offerings discussed on the Site may be described in plain language to help Users understand the concept. However, the third-party provider is solely responsible for the program terms, eligibility, service delivery, billing, cancellations, refunds, privacy practices and any coverage or benefit decisions.

ADN-23.2 Operating Firm is not the provider

The Operating Firm is not the insurer, administrator, underwriter, claims decision-maker or service provider for any third-party membership program, legal insurance product or identity protection product. Those functions are performed solely by the third-party provider.

ADN-23.3 Provider identification at the transfer point

When the Operating Firm transfers a User’s request to a third-party provider, the Operating Firm will identify the provider by name and, where applicable, will present a just-in-time notice confirming that the User is requesting contact from the third-party provider.

ADN-23.4 No attorney-client relationship created

Purchasing, enrolling in or using a third-party product or program does not create an attorney-client relationship with the Operating Firm. An attorney-client relationship is formed only if and when representation is accepted in writing under Engagement Terms with Inherent Law Group llc.

ADN-24.1 Where disclosures may appear

Disclosures may appear:

ADN-24.2 Just-in-time disclosures

Where appropriate, the Operating Firm may provide disclosures at the point of interaction, including short statements such as “Third-party provider,” “Provider representative will contact you,” “Provider named at transfer” or “No compensation is received for referrals.”

ADN-24.3 Information sharing for referral requests

If you request information about a third-party product or program, the Operating Firm may share your submitted contact details and request information with the third-party provider for follow-up. The provider will be identified by name at the transfer point and your continued participation confirms your request to be contacted by the provider.
