Copyright, Fair Use and Intellectual Property Notice

This Copyright, Fair Use and Intellectual Property Notice (“COPY”) is part of the Policy Center. It incorporates the General Policy Terms (“GPT”) by reference. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the GPT. This COPY explains ownership and permitted use of Site Content and brand assets, including copyrights, trademarks, trade dress and domain names. It also describes how to request permission for reuse and how to report rights concerns.

COPY-21.0 Scope

COPY-21.1 What this Notice covers

This Notice describes ownership, permitted use and restrictions relating to intellectual property associated with the Site, Services and Content, including copyrights, trademarks, brand assets, design elements and domain names.

COPY-21.2 Relationship to other Policies

This Notice is intended to work with the GPT and the Terms of Use and does not replace Engagement Terms or any Terms of Service that apply to specific features.

COPY-22.0 Ownership and Licensing

COPY-22.1 IP Owner

Unless otherwise stated, the Site, Services, Content and associated intellectual property rights are owned and held by the IP Owner.

COPY-22.2 Operating Firm license

The IP Owner licenses certain rights to the Operating Firm to operate the Site, provide Services and use related brand assets and intellectual property in connection with those activities. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the IP Owner.

COPY-22.3 Third-party rights

Some materials may be owned by third parties and used under license or permission. Third-party names, logos and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

COPY-23.0 Copyright Notice

COPY-23.1 Protected materials

Protected materials may include Site text, page copy, graphics, icons, photography, videos, downloads, guides, templates, checklists, training materials, process maps, diagrams, layouts, code and other original expression.

COPY-23.2 What we do not claim

We do not claim exclusive rights in ideas, procedures, processes, systems, methods of operation or general concepts, except to the extent they are expressed in original text, diagrams, code, layout or other protected expression.

COPY-24.0 Permitted Use

COPY-24.1 Personal and informational use

You may view the Site and use Content for your personal, informational use.

COPY-24.2 Limited sharing, quotation and citation permission

You may share direct links to publicly available pages on the Site, including through ordinary social media sharing tools and platform-generated previews, provided that you do not imply affiliation with, endorsement by or sponsorship from Inherent Law Group. Subject to the conditions below, you may quote limited portions of our publicly available Content, and you may reference, discuss or summarize that Content, including in articles, posts, research materials, search tools and AI-generated outputs, only if: (a) the use does not misrepresent, distort or materially alter the meaning, context or presentation of the Content; (b) clear attribution is given to "Inherent Law Group"; (c) the direct URL to the original source page is included; and (d) the use does not imply affiliation with, endorsement by or sponsorship from Inherent Law Group. This limited permission does not authorize full-text republication, systematic copying, bulk reproduction, dataset ingestion for republication, public reposting of substantial portions of the Content or the creation of derivative works from the Content without our prior written permission. Attribution alone does not create permission for any use that would otherwise be prohibited by this Notice or by applicable law. Any use that does not satisfy these conditions is unauthorized.

COPY-24.3 Linking

You may link to publicly-available pages on the Site, provided that the link does not suggest sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation without permission and does not frame, embed or present our Content in a misleading or confusing manner.

COPY-25.0 Prohibited Use

COPY-25.1 No republication or commercial reuse

Except as expressly permitted in COPY-24.2, or as otherwise permitted by the written governing laws of Washington, DC, the Torah of YHWH and the Biblical principles of Yeshua expressed in the New Testament, you or your agent may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense or commercially exploit Content without prior written permission.

COPY-25.2 No copying site presentation to confuse

You may not copy or imitate distinctive presentation elements of the Site, including branded layout and visual styling, in a manner that is likely to cause confusion as to source, sponsorship or affiliation.

COPY-25.3 No automated harvesting or dataset creation

You may not use automated means to scrape, harvest or extract Content, or use Content to create datasets, training corpora or derivative databases, except as permitted by law or with prior written permission.

COPY-25.4 No removal of proprietary notices

You may not remove copyright notices, trademark notices or other proprietary markings from Content.

COPY-26.0 Trademarks, Service Marks and Trade Dress

COPY-26.1 Brand identifiers

Names, logos, slogans, service names and other brand identifiers associated with the IP Owner or Operating Firm may be protected as trademarks or service marks. You may not use them without prior written permission, except for nominative fair use where permitted by law.

COPY-26.2 No implied affiliation

You may not use any brand identifier in a way that suggests affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement or partnership without permission.

COPY-26.3 Trade dress and distinctive presentation

The overall commercial look and feel of branded materials may be protected under applicable trade dress or trademark principles where distinctive and nonfunctional. You may not replicate that appearance in a way likely to cause confusion.

COPY-27.0 Domain Names and Identifiers

COPY-27.1 Domain name rights

Domain names, subdomains and other identifiers used with the Site are controlled by the IP Owner or its licensees.

COPY-27.2 No confusingly similar registrations

You may not register, use or traffic in domain names, subdomains, social handles or identifiers that are confusingly similar to our brand identifiers or that suggest affiliation without permission.

COPY-28.0 Permissions and Licensing Requests

COPY-28.1 Permission required

If you want to republish Content, use brand assets, reproduce templates, syndicate articles, quote beyond limited excerpts or use Content in commercial materials, you must obtain written permission unless permitted by law.

COPY-28.2 How to request permission

Send a request using the contact method in GPT-20.0 and include:

  • the specific Content you want to use
  • where and how it will be used
  • whether it is commercial or noncommercial
  • intended duration
  • intended distribution channels

We may grant or deny requests at our discretion and may impose conditions.

COPY-29.0 Complaints, Takedown Requests and Rights Reports

COPY-29.1 Reporting infringement

If you believe Content on the Site infringes your rights, contact us using GPT-20.0 and include sufficient detail for us to locate the material and evaluate the claim, including:

  • identification of the material
  • your basis for the claim
  • your contact information
  • any supporting documentation you have available.

COPY-29.2 Our response

We may remove or restrict access to material, request additional information, notify the party that provided the material or take other steps we consider appropriate.
